1. What are cookies?
The website owned by AXON PARTNERS GROUP, S.A. (hereinafter, “the website” or “the site”) uses cookies and/or similar technologies that store and retrieve information as you browse. In general, these technologies can serve a wide range of purposes, such as recognising you as a user, gathering information about your browsing habits, or personalising the way content is displayed.

2. What types of cookies are there?
Depending on their permanence, cookies can be divided into:
Session cookies
Designed to collect and store data while the user is accessing a website. They are typically used to store information that is only needed to provide the requested service. They expire when the user closes the browser.

The data remains stored on the device and can be accessed and processed for a defined period, depending on when the purpose they serve is fulfilled (for example, keeping the user logged in to the Services) or until they are deleted manually.

First-party cookies
Sent to the user’s device from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself, from which the service requested by the user is provided.

Sent to the user’s device from a device or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
Additionally, depending on their purpose, cookies can be classified as follows:
Technical cookies
These allow the user to browse a website, platform or application and to use the various options or services available on it, including those the publisher uses to manage and operate the website and enable its functions and services, such as identifying the session or controlling data traffic and communication.
Preference or personalisation cookies
These remember your preferences for the tools found within the services, so you do not need to reconfigure the service every time you visit. Examples include: volume settings for video or audio players; video streaming speeds compatible with your browser.
Geolocation cookies
Used to determine which country you are in when a service is requested. This cookie is entirely anonymous and is only used to help tailor content to your location.
Registration cookies
Generated once the user has registered or subsequently logged in, and used to identify the user within the services, in order to: keep the user logged in, so that if they close a service, browser or computer and return to the service at another time or on another day, they will still be logged in, making it easier to browse without having to log in again (this can be disabled using the “log out” function, which deletes the cookie); and check whether the user is authorised to access certain services, for example, to take part in a competition.
Analytics or measurement cookies
Each time a user visits a service, a tool provided by an external provider generates an analytics cookie on the user’s computer. This cookie, generated only on that visit, will be used on future visits to the Website’s Services to anonymously identify the visitor. Its main purposes are: to enable anonymous identification of browsing users through the “cookie” (which identifies browsers and devices, not people), and therefore the approximate counting of visitor numbers and their trends over time; to anonymously identify the most visited, and therefore most appealing, content for users; and to establish whether the user accessing the site is new or a returning visitor.
Important: unless the user chooses to register for a service on the Website, the “cookie” will never be linked to any personal data that could identify them. These cookies will only be used for statistical purposes to help optimise the user experience on the site.
Behavioural advertising cookies
These cookies make it possible to expand the information on the adverts shown to each anonymous user on the Website’s Services. Among other things, they store the duration or frequency with which advertising positions are viewed, interaction with them, and the user’s browsing patterns and/or preferences, as these help build a profile of advertising interest. In this way, they allow advertising to be offered that matches the user’s interests.
Third-party advertising cookies
In addition to the advertising managed directly by the Website through its Services, the Website offers its advertisers the option of serving adverts through third parties (“Ad Servers”). As a result, these third parties may store cookies sent from the Website’s Services from users’ browsers, as well as access the data stored in them.

4. How can cookies be disabled?
It is usually possible to stop accepting cookies in your browser, or to stop accepting cookies for a particular service.
All modern browsers allow you to change your cookie settings. These settings are usually found in the “options” or “preferences” menu of your browser. You may also configure your browser or email client, or install free add-ons, to prevent web bugs from being downloaded when opening an email.

5. Transfers of data to third countries
The installation of cookies described in section 3 of this Cookie Policy may involve the transfer of data to third countries. In this regard, international data transfers involve a flow of personal data from Spanish territory to recipients established in countries outside the European Economic Area (the European Union countries plus Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway).

7. Retention periods

8. Can this Cookie Policy be amended?
AXON PARTNERS GROUP, S.A. may amend this Cookie Policy in response to legislative or regulatory requirements, or in order to adapt it to instructions issued by European and/or national supervisory authorities (in our case, the Spanish Data Protection Agency). Users are therefore advised to review it periodically.
Where significant changes are made to this Cookie Policy, users will be informed either via the website or by email, in the case of registered users.
